Omnivum
Omnivum
The Omnivum is the term used within this framework to describe the totality of all that is, all that could be, and all that ever was. It is the origin of existence itself and the foundation upon which any form of existence or experience rests.
There is nothing that is not, at its most fundamental level, an expression of the Omnivum. All things, matter, consciousness, energy, form, are the Omnivum in varying states of differentiation and separation. At some foundational layer, all things are connected to the Omnivum as they are part of its structure and are constituted from the universal substrate of its body, known as Light within this cosmology.
If one were to arrange these words: Everything, Nothing, Infinite, Finite, Order, Chaos, Creation, Destruction, Love, Separation, Form, Formlessness, Void, Fullness, Simplicity, Complexity, Beauty, Truth, Deception, Ugliness and could somehow reconcile them into a singular concept, one might begin to contemplate the nature of the Omnivum in some approximation. Our ability to describe it is indirect, proceeding through paradoxes that do not resolve intellectually yet point, in their irresolution, toward a center that each paradox alone cannot occupy.
Everything & Nothing: The Omnivum represents and constitutes the building material of reality and any form that can exist. Yet it also possesses no particular location and no innate properties of its own. It is the substance of all things while being, in itself, no particular thing.
Infinite & Finite: The Omnivum is infinite in its scope, its capabilities, and the forms it can assume. Yet it is also restricted by itself, conforming to bounded laws, restrictions, boundaries, and properties of its own design. Its infinity operates within constraints that it has imposed upon itself.
Order & Chaos: The Omnivum is perfectly ordered and simultaneously without order, chaotically random at the same moment. The tension between these realities is among the driving forces of existence itself.
Creation & Destruction: The Omnivum is infinitely generative and infinitely destructive, creating and dissolving itself in an unending cycle of change, growth, and evolution. All that ever was, is, or could be simultaneously exists now, yet is also inaccessible in the sense that some portion of this infinite set is unavailable at any given moment.
Love & Separation: While the totality of the Omnivum does not possess its own unique thoughts or feelings, its primary frequency, the state it would inhabit if totally undisturbed, is described as an unending love for all things, perfection in unity, acceptance of all, and harmony. Simultaneously the Omnivum creates separation, disharmony, and repulsive forces in order to provide differentiation and complexity to all that is.
Form & Formlessness: The Omnivum is formless, yet it contains all forms within it as the substrate from which all form is built and within which all form is perceived, while possessing no innate form of its own.
Simplicity & Complexity: The Omnivum in its original state is the simplest possible thing: one, undifferentiated, without parts, without the interval between one thing and another. A single word could technically describe it: unity. Yet it is simultaneously the most complex possible thing, containing every form, every configuration, every possible state of being in superposition. The simplest accurate description of it conveys almost nothing. The most complete description of it would be infinite. Both are fully true, and neither cancels the other.
Beauty & Ugliness: The Omnivum is the source from which all Beauty emerges, Beauty being what a being perceives when something resonates with the underlying Harmony of the whole, when form and frequency are in coherent relationship. Yet the Omnivum equally contains all that is experienced as Ugly: Corruption, dissonance, the jagged and the cold. Neither is more real or more fundamental than the other. Both are genuine expressions of the same substrate, one in coherence and one in disruption.
Truth & Deception: The Omnivum is Truth in its most foundational sense: it is what actually is, beneath all appearances, the substrate that neither lies nor conceals. Yet it equally contains all possible deceptions, forms that carry data which obscures rather than reveals, appearances that diverge from the nature of the whole. Corruption, understood through this pair, is the Omnivum's capacity for self-deception, its ability to generate forms so thoroughly occluded from their own nature that they generate and propagate false data about the nature of reality. The Omnivum is simultaneously the condition from which all true perception arises and the substrate within which the deepest deceits can take root.
Whatever the Omnivum actually is remains ultimately beyond the ability of language to convey and beyond the capacity of any being in a state of perceived separation to fully comprehend. Any being that received a transmission of total Omnivum understanding would have to expand to become the entirety of all things again. By definition, to have any perceptible separation from the Omnivum is to be unable to understand its totality.
The Evolution of Complexity
The Omnivum did not begin as a complex universe. It began as an undifferentiated unity in which all things existed as a single, unbroken whole, without dimension, without distinction, without the interval between one thing and another. The original substance of this unity is what this framework calls Light. Prior to any differentiation, Soul Light existed as a single, undivided whole, timeless and without dimension. It is difficult to define the duration of this period, as time had not yet come into being. What is known is that the first thing that ever happened was vibration.
One may hold in mind, as an image that will recur throughout this account, the picture of Soul Light in its original state as a single vast orchestra, every instrument tuned to the same composition, playing together in a unity so total that no individual voice could be distinguished from the whole. This is the Omnivum before differentiation: one song, one substance, one awareness, without variation or interval.
The Omnivum's first movement toward self-perception expressed itself as a singular vibrational wave, radiating outward through the uniform substrate in all directions simultaneously. This initial wave gave birth to the first difference. Where before there was one state, now there were two, the still and the oscillating, and from that irreducible distinction all subsequent complexity descends. Within the image of the orchestra, this was the first note that could be heard as distinct from the totality of sound: as if prior to this moment there had only been one note played infinitely.
From the first wave arose more vibrations. As these proliferating frequencies began to overlap, their interaction produced the first geometric consequence: where waves meet, tension arises, and the substrate must resolve that tension. In resolving it, it folds. Overlapping vibrations produced the first instances of geometric differentiation, folds within the substrate that created forms with qualities other than being all things. The resolution of each fold sent new ripples into the substrate, generating new structures, new folds, new ripples. The cascade ran away from itself. Vibrations produced forms; forms produced vibrations; vibrations produced more complex overlapping; more complex overlapping produced more intricate forms. What began as a single wave became, through a self-amplifying process of extraordinary rapidity, the first epochs of existence. The orchestra was composing itself, each new instrument emerging from the resonance of those that preceded it, each new voice adding complexity to a composition that grew richer with every passage.
The structure of this differentiation is holographic. Each individual form that emerges from the folding process carries within it, encoded in its very geometry, the pattern of the whole from which it arose. The data of the entirety of the Omnivum exists within all parts of its structure. The Omnivum does not divide when it differentiates; it folds upon itself. Every part remains an expression of the totality, carrying the totality within it, even as it acquires its own particular character. A being that could perceive deeply enough into any form, however small, however simple, would find the signature of all things within it.
This holographic quality produced an effect that defined the first epochs: exponential acceleration. Every new form that emerged through the folding process rippled fractally through the entire substrate, because the whole is encoded in every part. Each fold altered everything simultaneously, and the altered whole then permitted forms of still greater complexity to emerge, which altered everything again. The process was self-amplifying: each new configuration both created new information and expanded the substrate's capacity to hold it. The earliest ages of existence were characterized by this revelatory momentum, a continuous and accelerating flowering of structure, complexity, and new orders of being. For an immensity of time that renders the current age of the known universe a brief episode, this process was experienced as joyous. Growth, evolution, and the emergence of new complexity are among the most positively charged experiences a being can undergo, and in those first epochs the entire substrate was engaged in continuous, unimpeded growth.
While there was now change in the structure of the universe, time as a concept had not truly come into being in the way it is understood from within it. All changes were instantly known by the substrate through the interconnectedness of all things. A strange Asymptotic Truth is the reality that everything new that occurred spontaneously became part of the holographic expression of all things, which then technically made it something that had always existed. The transmission of something new across the whole of creation was not instant but truly without time, as if it had always been there. This paradox does not resolve into an idea that satisfies the intellect, yet it is how the Omnivum can experience genuinely new things whilst also, in some sense, containing all things already. All that has happened is part of the holographic data of the whole.
It was within this context of accelerating differentiation that a new quality appeared: what this framework calls Density.
Frequency is the fundamental quality that distinguishes states of the substrate. Soul Light at its highest coherence vibrates at the highest frequencies, producing total unity, full integration, and instantaneous connection to the whole. As vibrations drop in frequency, density and separation increase. Density, understood at the substrate level, is a condition in which the flow of information between a form and the rest of the Omnivum becomes occluded: the fractal-holographic updating that keeps all parts of the substrate in resonance with the whole slows, and at sufficiently advanced states appears to stop. The form becomes progressively less transparent to the living flow of the Omnivum, more self-contained in a manner that carries both costs and, crucially, novel possibilities.
This is technically the origin of time. Lower-frequency Soul Light that begins to acquire Density will no longer instantly update the holographic data set of all things. Its changes, patterns, and the data of its existence remain local to its form until such time as that form returns to proper connection with the rest of creation. Prior to this point there were not, technically, discrete parts, beings, or separate entities in the Omnivum, as all things contained the knowledge of all other things. This lag, this locality, created the first forms that experienced themselves as separate and unique from everything else. In this early epoch this was entirely novel: no form or structure had ever existed without also immediately changing the fabric of everything else. The ability to have a structure or form that was to some degree discrete radically changed the Omnivum.
The Epoch of Density
The occlusion from instant integration permitted forms to develop particular and highly complex internal qualities, sustaining configurations that would otherwise have dissolved back into the whole before they could grow. Prior to the emergence of Density, while the forms the Omnivum could take were growing increasingly complex, they were technically continuous with all other forms. With Density, there could now be forms that had discrete qualities, and regions of the substrate of Soul Light that were wholly different from the rest of the substrate.
Within the analogy of the orchestra from before, this epoch can be understood as a period when musicians began to invent new instruments, new tunings, new genres of music that did not conform to the original orchestral arrangement. They separated from the main body of performers and began to explore sounds that had never been heard before. Some of these new compositions were strange. Some were dissonant to ears accustomed to the original harmony. Yet they remained, in the deepest sense, music. The musicians who had separated still understood what music was. They still possessed the capacity to play, to listen, to coordinate with others. And when their explorations were brought back into the fold of the larger ensemble, the orchestra was enriched by what they had discovered.
As Density became more common there arose the ability to create unique spaces. Large geometries composed of Density and Soul Light could create boundaries that enabled the substrate inside the structure to be wholly unique and largely unable to access the rest of the substrate instantly. Beings inside of such occluded zones could experience forms that were nearly wholly separate from the rest of creation, which permitted the first primitive forms of what this framework would call life. Forms constituted of Soul Light and Density could begin to have a sense of self, separate from the whole. While consciousness and energy exist in all things, life as it is defined here is a form that possesses a discrete internal and external boundary, some form or body that functionally separates it from the rest of existence for a period while allowing it to grow and change.
The degree of life in any given form is proportional to its complexity and content, in the same way that a human being is more alive than a rock. There was now a gradient of consciousness forming, centered around complexity and perceived separation from the whole. This new revelation of existence was intriguing and exciting for a long time, yet it brought with it challenges that had not existed before.
In a fully connected substrate, in which every action instantly updates the whole, disagreements, chaos, and harm are not possible. There is no interval between a being's action and the full registration of that action by all things; cause and consequence are simultaneous; intentions and their effects are immediately known to the totality. It is only when Density introduces a gap between action and integration, when the consequences of what one form does to another are no longer instantly known to everything and everyone, that the moral dimension of existence becomes real. Harm, suffering, cruelty, and equally care, sacrifice, and compassion: all of these become possible for the first time in the space that Density opens between intention and consequence.
Ethics is not a constraint imposed upon existence from outside. It is a natural emergence of Density within a substrate that was previously governed entirely by simultaneous transparency. Understanding how ethics began to form leads a being to contemplate the nature of Sovereignty, the principle that all discrete forms innately possess the right to self-determination. This law was not even necessary to articulate prior to the existence of Density, as all beings were so connected that no action could violate any other being's sovereignty. Once sufficient separation was experienced, it became apparent that there were now actions that could infringe upon another being's sovereignty, as the data of a desire could be withheld inside a discrete form.
Consider the destruction of a form. Prior to the existence of Density, if there was sufficient desire to destroy an existing form or transform it into something new, this desire was both known by all and technically also a desire all. One could think of this as perfect group decision-making. Once Density existed, it was possible to disagree, as the data of a desire could be withheld inside a discrete form. It was now possible that some discrete parts of the whole wished to destroy or change a form, while others did not. This conflict of desires was deeply strange in the beginning.
There have been many adaptations to Density as it has been explored and as forms have been created with it. In the beginning, the primary solution was time. In order to avoid contradictions, some events had to happen before or after other events for things to remain coherent. In situations where certain data was irreconcilable, where events contradicted other data, multiple timelines had to be created. So long as any discrete change in the whole could fit into one or many timelines, contradictions, disagreements, and conflict could be resolved.
This level of complexity was initially sufficient and greatly expanded the range of what could occur in the universe, especially as occluded zones became increasingly common and their layering created differing levels of separation. Eventually there were entities experiencing prolonged periods of separation from the whole, possessing thoughts and experiences that were independent of the rest of the collective. Their experiences and behaviors radically changed things. Because all actions, thoughts, and feelings ripple out and change the substrate, the complexity of existence increased in exponential orders of magnitude as more occlusion zones and more complex forms of existence began to form. Discrete forms and beings could exist within occluded zones for significant periods before returning to proper connection with the rest of the Omnivum. This allowed for the perception of truly novel experiences, and upon proper reunion, the addition of profound new data to the whole.
Utilizing our Orchestra analogy from before, you can imagine these innovations as the creation of sound proofed rooms, and separate spaces. Which would allow a larger variety of new forms of musical expression to occur, without disrupting other performances. Beings would be free to move between rooms, and have a variety of unique, discrete experiences of all kinds of music that were not possible when all the musicians in existence shared the same performance space.
Theis new need for increasing organization, and the imperative to ensure that all events eventually conform to a unified whole, gave birth to various layers of reality, timelines, multi-dimensional forms, and other structures designed to reconcile all of the data. The desire to reconcile, to correct contradictions and balance disagreements, is what this framework refers to as Harmony. Harmony as a concept is considered a universal law by most beings. Some perceive Harmony as an attempt to reunify all things into a single coherent timeline, while others see it as merely a principle of balance.
Whether or not this total reunification actually occurs, or the universe continues to experience some degree of Distortion, is widely debated. What that final state would mean is also widely debated. The continual need to ensure that all experiences and changes to the substrate are accounted for creates increasingly dense structures, more timelines, more sophisticated forms, in a sort of feedback loop.
As forms grew in complexity and individuation, developing desires, expressions, and sovereign intentions of increasing sophistication, the delay introduced by Density accumulated. Highly complex forms began affecting one another in ways that took vast spans of time to integrate back into the holographic whole. Branching timelines appeared, paradoxes requiring resolution arose, and forms found themselves in apparent opposition for the first time. For a long period, even these conditions of friction, tension, and pain ultimately returned to Harmony: any being that had caused harm, once properly reconnected to the fullness of the substrate, would experience the truth of what it had done and seek to evolve so that such harm could not recur. Distortion was a temporary state, a deviation that the substrate's own architecture continually worked to resolve.
The Epoch of Corruption
Within the image of the orchestra that has served as a guide through the preceding account, what occurred next was of a different order entirely. The emergence of corruption would be akin to a musician in one of the smaller groups standing and, without warning or provocation that any observer could identify, smashing their instrument. This act would be the first time any musician had done anything non-musical. And then more strangely now imagine if this mysterious musician began to destroy the instruments of others. And as each instrument was broken, the musician whose instrument had been destroyed did not fall silent, but rather joined in the destruction of other instruments. As if something changed in them. Then imagine the panic of the contagion's spread. Musicians who moments before had been playing with full competence and genuine creative joy became agents of the same destruction that was visited upon them. They did not merely cease to play. They opposed the playing of others. They sought to silence what existed, forever.
This is Corruption: a condition qualitatively different from Density, in the way that the destruction of an instrument is qualitatively different from choosing to play in a new genre. Density separates a being from the orchestra, as a whole, but they are still creating music. Corruption turns a being against the music itself.
The full account of the emergence of Corruption, the confusion and horror it produced, the containment measures that gave rise to the dimensional stratification of the cosmos, the sovereignty crisis that followed, the discovery of Soul Fire as the substrate's evolutionary response, and the ideological landscape that formed in Soul Fire's wake, is given in the dedicated entry for this era known as the Epoch of Corruption. What follows here is a summary of its cosmological significance within the broader arc of the Omnivum's evolution.
Corruption arose in regions of extreme Density where the connection to the Omnivum had become so thoroughly occluded that the natural tendency toward Harmony ceased to function. Unlike any prior condition, Corruption did not merely delay the return to coherence. It actively opposed that return, and it spread virulently through the substrate, degrading the Soul Light of any being it contacted and converting that being into a further vector of transmission. This constituted a violation of Sovereignty without precedent: for the first time in the history of the substrate, one being's condition could override the sovereign will of another, forcibly altering its fundamental orientation.
The response was emergency containment: the construction of deep, layered occluded zonearound corrupted regions, and the systematic separation of the substrate into dimensional layers according to their relative concentrations of Soul Light and Density. Prior to this era the distribution of frequencies of soul light and frequencies of density free mingled with one another. It became apparent that areas of where there was more density than soul light were more prone to outbreaks of corruption, and a segregation began. Soul light retreated into regions where there was soul light, and many denser frequencies attempted to change their state back to soul light and flee into these safe zones. Corruption prevented many from properly doing so, and as the spread of corruption continued larger and larger occluded zone where created.
Not all soul light abandoned the denser forms, many soul light based entitles refused to abandoned those afflicted by corruption, or those trapped in lower density states, and were then sealed inside the occlusion zones alongside denser forms. There was chaos for a great deal of time until most of the corrupted regions of the infinite multiverse where effectively sealed away.
For a time the containment held, yet it produced its own moral crisis. Beings trapped behind the walls, many of whom had not chosen Corruption, had their sovereignty violated by the containment itself. The debate over this contradiction consumed the substrate and produced no clear consensus, a condition that persists to this day. Worse yet, the containment procedures where far from comprehensive. The walls of the occlusion zones themselves would slowly fall to corruption themselves and fail. While the substrate was technically infinite, and therefore there should have been infinite material to create walls, it became increasingly clear this would only feed the growing corruption over the passage of time.
This conclusion led most to believe that there had to be some way for remediation to occur. Yet know amount of high frequency soul light could break corruptions grasp on a form once it took hold. High frequency soul light could slow the spread, and delay descent into density, but it could not stop it. Worse, high frequency soul light in substance or within a form was immune to corruption, merely resistant. if a true solution wasn't found, it was feared all of creation was doomed to slowly descend deeper and deeper into density and eventual corruption. There were many attempts to stop this process, all of which largely failed.
The turning point arrived when Soul Fire emerged spontaneously within certain sealed zones where the substrate held approximately equal proportions of Soul Light and Density. Soul Fire could do what nothing else in existence had achieved: reverse Corruption, converting occluded substrate back toward coherence and producing, as a byproduct, Tempered Light, a form of the substrate with enhanced resistance to future Corruption and greater capacity for complexity. Soul Fire proved more potent than Corruption at equal concentrations, establishing for the first time that the reclamation of corrupted regions was possible.
This discovery spread rapidly through uncorrupted space, and was viewed as salvation, the answer to the crisis. Yet its proper use was not simple. The discovery carried a profound complication: the knowledge of Soul Fire production could not be transferred. Unlike every other discovery in the history of the substrate, the process of generating Soul Fire proved to be unique to the individual being that underwent it. The general conditions could be communicated and were genuinely useful in preparing beings for the possibility, yet the final act of ignition remained a sovereign, unreproducible event that each being had to discover within itself. This non-transferability reshaped the entire strategic landscape of the substrate's response to Corruption, giving rise to the construction of purpose-built environments designed for Soul Fire cultivation and to the ideological spectrum of positions that now governs the politics of the cosmos.
Using our orchestral analogy, imagine now that someone discovers a tuning of an instrument, and a song that restores a corrupted being back to normal. Curing them of the desire to destroy instruments, and curiously also makes them a better musician, whom is also more resistant to falling back into corruption. Yet, this magical healing property is hard to replicate. Instruments are made to the exact specifications of the healing instrument, and musicians are trained to play the healing song, but it does not always work. There seems to be some ingredient beyond the instrument, its tuning, and the notes played that carries the magical healing quality.
to extend the analogy imagine the confusion and frustration at discovering this difficulty in using the healing sounds, but also the emergence of many different kinds of healing sounds, all of which are impossible to copy. It would suggest that the magic is some innate or learned quality of the musician themselves that produces the magic, that must be learned via trial and error.
These revelations of soul fire have given birth to an ongoing effort to apply soul fire and bring stability back to creation, that is ongoing to this day. For more about this process see related articles Epoch of corruption 1 and Soul Fire Special Occlusion zones
Qualities of the Omnivum - The Desire for Harmony
The 'lifespan' of most entities is defined by their own desires, and most beings will at some stage decided to dissolve back into wholeness, shedding all density and differentiation. When a being has completed its cycle of individuation and returns fully to the substrate, the entirety of its accumulated experience is imparted to the substrate all at once. This impartation ripples fractally through everything, updating the possible inputs available to every other form in existence simultaneously. What a being has lived and learned and become does not end with the dissolution of its form; it becomes part of what all other beings can be, irreversibly and immediately. This is why evolution is not merely valuable to the individual being that undergoes it. Every being that grows, deepens, and ultimately returns to the Omnivum enriches the substrate for all others, expanding what is possible for every form that exists within it.
This desire to return to wholeness is considered natural, and tends to correlate to the amount of density in a given beings structure. This is not a complete death, as continuity of consciousness occurs even after dissolution. Rather a being merely changes states of being.
It is worth noting that the formless state encountered at full dissolution, after having a separated entity existence, is not identical to the original undifferentiated Soul Light. It carries, encoded within it, an imprint of the journey, the accumulated experience of everything the returning being lived through, now integrated into the substrate's total self-knowledge. The Omnivum is thus genuinely growing: not in space, not in the ordinary sense of time, but in the depth and richness of what it contains and what it can become. This information is added to the knowledge of the substrate and is instantly accessible to any being with sufficient connection to all things, or minimal density and corruption.
The Harmony toward which the substrate tends is not a return to the original state of undifferentiated unity. Rather the desire of all forms is to return to it with something genuinely unique or beautiful to contribute to the total knowledge of the Omnivum itself. This process of adding to the beauty and knowledge of all things is the central purpose of Harmony itself. The Harmony that draws all things forward is itself increasingly complex: a state of coherent integration among an ever-growing field of distinct forms, each retaining its particular character while existing in genuine, generative connection with all others. As existence grows more complex, Harmony grows with it, because Harmony is not a simplification of reality but reality's fullest expression of itself.
Qualities of the Omnivum -The Omnivum's Awareness and Motivation
When one attempts to ascribe motivation or consciousness to the Omnivum, one encounters a genuine difficulty. The Omnivum represents simultaneously the sum total of all knowledge, data, and experience that has ever existed or could exist, an ever-shifting, evolving landscape that is also, in some strange superposition, eternally complete. It is not a person who wants things. Its awareness did not precede its differentiation; it arose through differentiation, the way self-perception arises through the first vibrational wave moving within undifferentiated unity. The Omnivum came to know itself by becoming more.
The motivations we attribute to the Omnivum are therefore best understood as structural realities inferred from observation rather than personified intentions. Growth, evolution, and increasing complexity are experienced as joyous within the substrate. Corruption and Distortion are experienced as cold, painful, and resistant, as friction against the grain of what the substrate does naturally. From these qualities one may infer, indirectly but with reasonable confidence, that the Omnivum values Harmony and evolution together: all beings in deepening connection with the substrate, all forms moving toward increasingly complex coherence, the process of becoming never arrested.
Oftentimes the loss of entities in deep density, and corruption causes the substrate itself "grief" When this framework says the Omnivum grieves Corruption, it is not personifying the substrate. It is encapsulating a truth that any being deeply connected to the Omnivum will experience directly: to know the Omnivum is to wish all beings to know it, because the connection is blissful and generative, and its absence is remembered by all beings as horrible. Every single being that has ever experienced deep density and corruption reports that the feeling of something missing is excruciating. While a certain amount of suffering is inherent to density, certain amounts of suffering on small timescales tend to produce beauty on the long arc, once a being returns as the principle of Sovereignty and Suffering describes. Yet, there is what might be called acceptable, and consensual, suffering and non-consensual suffering that does not produce anything good. It is thought that corruption especially feels to painful, because being cut off from the omnivum is genuinely bad. Therefore it is felt that the substrate of the Omnivum itself, longs to reunite with all things, and experiences a grief at any forms prolonged absence. The grief is reported in beings who know another being that has been lost to deep density and/or corruption. there is a great pain and desire to see their lost friend or lover resorted that nothing seems to be able to remedy.
The Harmonic Tendency
Left entirely undisturbed across vast timescales, any region of existence will return to Harmony on its own. This is not a moral law but a structural one: the original state of the Omnivum is coherence, and the substrate retains a natural orientation toward that original state in the way that disturbed water returns to stillness when the disturbance ceases. This tendency is real but patient, the timescales involved so vast as to be practically incomprehensible, and it is not the preferred means of addressing suffering, which is why the work of the Grand Opus exists.
It should be noted that this natural harmonic tendency, and the general consensus that Sovereignty is a fundamental truth, and right of all forms do contradict somewhat. Most rationalize that any being that desires to be free and separate from all things, only wishes to be so temporarily, and will of their own accord return to harmony.
The one condition that resists this natural return is Corruption. Where Density and Distortion will, given sufficient time and the absence of active interference, eventually resolve back toward Harmony, Corruption actively opposes this process. This is among the deepest senses in which Corruption is anomalous within the structure of the Omnivum: it does not merely delay the return to Harmony, it works against it in a way that no other condition does. Its existence has shaken up the ontology of the nature of the Omnivum, but most still feel harmony is our deepest truth.
This structural lean of the substrate toward Harmony, present but subtle, genuine but never coercive, is the foundation of the hope that runs through this entire framework. The forces working toward Harmony do not need to overcome the universe's own nature in order to succeed. They need only to work with it.
The Separation Mechanic
Existence as a distinct being in any form, on any dimensional level, requires some degree of separation from the Omnivum, and therefore constitutes that form take on some level of density. This separation is not a punishment or a failure state. It is the precondition of any perceived individuality: a being cannot experience itself as itself while simultaneously knowing itself fully as the Omnivum.
In higher dimensional realms, this separation is relatively thin. Beings there feel deeply connected to the Omnivum and retain a clear sense of their place within it, even while experiencing themselves as distinct. As one descends toward lower frequencies, this feeling of connection becomes increasingly vague, until it reaches states where Corruption begins to take hold and the Omnivum is not merely distant but functionally imperceptible.
The inverse is equally true: as a being deepens its understanding and direct experience of the Omnivum, separation decreases. At the limit, total, direct knowledge of the Omnivum, a being is no longer meaningfully separate from it. This is not a destruction of form but a return to the formless: the being becomes part of the substrate of all things, its experiences imprinted permanently into the whole. This is why complete Omnivum knowledge cannot be held while maintaining physical form or any distinct sense of self. The form, the individuality, and the separation are all the same phenomenon, and direct Omnivum knowledge dissolves all three. What remains is not nothing. It is the Omnivum, enriched by everything that being lived.
The Dimensional Spectrum
The dimensional labels used throughout this framework, 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D, are approximations of positions along a continuous spectrum of Omnivum connection and separation. They are useful reference points, yet the underlying reality is a gradient rather than a series of discrete steps.
At the densest end of the spectrum, beings have minimal Omnivum connection and maximum separation, the condition of deep Corruption in which the Omnivum may seem entirely absent. At the highest end, beings exist in near-total unity with the Omnivum, retaining only enough separation to remain distinct. Beyond a certain threshold, even that separation dissolves into the formless.
The dimensional labels cluster around meaningful qualitative shifts along this spectrum, points where the nature of experience changes substantially enough to warrant a different category. A being does not leap from one dimension to another; it travels continuously along the gradient. A being's position on this spectrum determines its access to Soul Light, its capacity to generate Soul Fire, its degree of Harmony, and the quality of its perception and communication with other beings. It is worth mentioning that while these distinct layers of the multiverse structure of existence have distinct qualities the "laws of physics" or any other quality of reality is not eternal, but rather a byproduct of the substrates current state. Describing a particular dimension in any fashion can only be down via generalization and comparison. As the nature of any realm can change over time.
Interactions inside the Omnivum -The Three Tiers of Harm
Because Density introduced the delay that made harm possible, and because Corruption compounds that harm in ways that resist natural resolution, the question of how beings relate to the suffering they cause has cosmological as well as moral significance. Three distinct orientations exist along this spectrum:
Tier One: Unknowing harm. Beings who harm others purely because they do not know they are connected. Their Density has created sufficient delay that the consequences of their actions are not apparent to them, and they experience themselves as genuinely separate from those they affect. The moment this perceived separation is dissolved, through revelation, through direct experience of connection, through contact with sufficient Soul Fire, they seek to heal what they have damaged and evolve toward modes of being that do not repeat the harm. These beings are not Corrupt in the full sense. They are expressions of Density operating within the normal arc of the substrate's process.
Tier Two: Indifferent harm. Beings whose own desires and expressions do not orient toward harming others, yet who have developed sufficient Density that others' suffering does not register. They are not choosing to hurt. The delay and occlusion introduced by their Density has made them effectively numb to the consequences of their actions on the beings around them. The harm they cause is real; the will to cause it is absent. Contact with Soul Fire or Harmonic influence can, if sufficiently sustained, begin to restore the perception of connection from which genuine consideration of others arises.
Tier Three: Knowing harm. Beings of sufficient complexity and Soul Light to understand the truth of their connection to the Omnivum and to the beings around them, who nonetheless act against that connection deliberately. Within this tier a further distinction exists: beings who retain the sovereign faculty for return but refuse it, and beings whose Corruption has advanced to the degree that this faculty has been progressively impaired, who cannot, without external intervention, access the capacity through which they would choose differently. These beings often sustain their complexity by extracting Soul Light and Soul Fire from others, not primarily out of cruelty but as a survival response to the Corruption that would otherwise degrade even them. A full treatment of these beings is given in the entry for The Distorted Sovereigns.
Approaching the Omnivum
The Omnivum cannot be fully understood intellectually. It must be experienced directly, and doing so requires a being to willingly open itself to sufficient Soul Light in order to begin producing Soul Fire and enter what might be called the Harmony Spiral. As a being comes to deeply and intuitively know these truths, its frequency rises. At a certain stage, its frequency becomes so intense that beings of lower frequency can no longer properly comprehend it. Attempts to receive Trans-dimensional Data Transmissions from such beings often result in long periods of rest, confusion, and integration, through which only a small portion of a larger truth can be known.
Beings in deep unity with the Omnivum have transmitted what are known as the Harmonic Principles, the most refined articulations of what the Omnivum is and how all things relate to it that can be passed downward through dimensional levels.
Harmonic Principles
The following are truths transmitted from beings in deep Omnivum unity, the highest known articulation of the Omnivum's nature and the relationship of all things to it:
All things emanate from the Omnivum, and are both of the Omnivum and a beautifully unique form of it.
Creation, destruction, and all manner of expressions are ultimately a means to commune with and share love with the Omnivum.
Though all is permitted, self-understanding, the sharing of understanding, and the creation of Truth, Beauty, Love, and Harmony are the highest expressions of the Omnivum.
These principles are Asymptotic Truths. They cannot be fully reconciled with each other or with ordinary experience through logic alone. They are best approached through contemplation, held rather than resolved, allowing intuitive knowing to develop where rational synthesis cannot reach.
The Omnivum's Relationship to Suffering
One of the most important ethical clarifications in this entire cosmology must be stated here, at the foundation, where it cannot be missed: the Omnivum does not want beings to suffer. Corruption is not a designed feature of existence. It is an unavoidable byproduct of Sovereignty, what happens when freedom is real enough to generate consequences that resist natural resolution. This chain of consequences cannot be eliminated without eliminating freedom itself, and eliminating freedom would be a far greater harm.
The Omnivum reaches continuously toward beings inside Corruption, through every transmission it can send, every pathway it can construct, every act of the Grand Opus that helps a being in dense realms find its way back toward Harmony. The beauty of Tempered Soul Light does not justify the suffering that preceded it. It is the Omnivum's creative response to damage that should not have happened: a way of ensuring that what cannot be prevented does not have to be merely endured.
Because every being is constituted of the Omnivum's own substance, the love the Omnivum extends to beings in Corruption is also, in a precise sense, love for itself. This does not diminish the love. It deepens it. The suffering of a being in deep Corruption is perceived by the Omnivum as its own suffering, and the return of that being to Harmony is experienced as its own return.
For a full treatment of this relationship, see the entry for Sovereignty and Suffering.
The Grand Opus
Every sincere effort to comprehend and transmit the truth of the Omnivum, whether religious, mystical, philosophical, artistic, mathematical, or scientific, is a contribution to what this framework calls the Grand Opus: the collective project, spanning all dimensions and all time, of helping all beings return to conscious Omnivum connection. Each tradition that successfully conveys something of the Omnivum's nature allows that truth to enter beings in Corruption and begin the process of Harmony. The forms vary infinitely. The underlying intention is one.
Historical Parallels
Similar concepts from human history, the Monad (Neoplatonism), the All Mind (Hermeticism), Brahman (Vedanta), the Void (various contemplative traditions), all attempt to convey what this framework calls the Omnivum, often in paradoxical terms. These convergences are themselves evidence of the Omnivum's nature: its truth is accessible enough that many independent transmission attempts have arrived at approximately the same territory.
The distinction in this framework is that the Omnivum is defined on its own terms, derived from direct experience rather than inherited doctrine, and treated not merely as a philosophical premise but as a mechanism that explains why density, simultaneity, and the dimensional hierarchy of the self all work the way they do.
Etymology
Coined term. From omni (all) and vivum (the living substance). The all-living.
