Compression Sickness
The condition that results when a being in significant Corruption or Density is elevated in frequency too rapidly, either through forced intervention, sudden overwhelming contact with the Omnivum, or an accelerated life review process that outpaces the being's capacity to integrate what it is experiencing. The term is borrowed by analogy from the physical phenomenon of decompression sickness in deep-sea diving, where ascending too quickly from high pressure to low pressure causes nitrogen to bubble catastrophically out of the blood. The dynamics are structurally similar: a being adapted to the pressures of dense, Corruption-laden existence cannot safely transition to higher dimensional conditions without a gradual process of acclimation.
The Mechanism
As a being rises in frequency and approaches higher dimensional states, its capacity to manifest thought increases proportionally. Higher dimensional existence is increasingly like a lucid dream, thoughts become more directly real, the distance between intention and manifestation narrows. For a being in deep Harmony, this is the natural expression of Omnivum connection. For a being that has risen too quickly while still carrying significant Distortion, unprocessed harm, guilt, shame, or entrenched beliefs about punishment and judgment, this increased manifestation capacity becomes dangerous.
Such a being, encountering the Empathetic Transmissions of a life review at elevated frequency, may find the weight of its own accumulated harm, felt now from the perspective of every being it affected, unbearable. If it also carries beliefs about eternal damnation, divine punishment, or deserved suffering, those beliefs become self-fulfilling at the frequency it has reached. The being literally generates a hell for itself: a self-sustaining manifestation of its own guilt, fear, and punishment beliefs, experienced with full dimensional vividness.
Once these manifested negative thoughts, combined with the raw experience of being connected to all things begins, it is difficult to stop a being from panicking, which generates negative thoughts that instantly become real, and then generate new negative thoughts as they react to what they have just created. This creates a feedback loop that typically results in a beings frequency dropping.
The resulting frequency drop is real and significant. As the being endures the self-generated environment it has created, its connection to the Omnivum weakens further, deepening rather than reversing the Corruption. The process that was meant to restore it has instead temporarily worsened its condition. This is the primary reason one cannot simply instantly move a being between realms, as their own internal state is fundamentally incompatible with realms beyond its own.
Why Gradual Acclimation Is Required
This is the foundational reason realms like The Earth Plane exist. Beings cannot be safely forcibly raised into higher dimensional awareness. They must grow, across many incarnations and experiences, into a gradually increasing capacity to hold the truth of their interconnection with all other beings, and with the Omnivum, without being overwhelmed by it.
The life review process itself is a controlled acclimation environment. The sequence of reconnecting will all personally generated Memory Forms followed by Empathetic Transmissions is carefully structured to allow a soul to face the truth of its choices and their effects at a pace that the soul's current state can bear. When that pace is exceeded, whether through the soul's own resistance generating a crash, or through the weight of what must be faced, the process stops. The soul is not forced through it.
Archetypes of Rejection
Compression Sickness manifests in several recognizable patterns, each corresponding to a different type of being and a different form of resistance to the rising frequency:
The Mind-Break — Some beings simply cannot integrate the experience of being connected to everything. When their awareness expands toward higher dimensional consciousness, something in their cognitive structure fails to hold it. Their perception fractures rather than expands. This is not moral failure, it is a form of overload, and is addressed through the slow, incremental work of realms like Earth.
Judgment— if a being rises in frequency too fast, they may be overwhelmed by all they have done that directly or indirectly harmed others. They resist the life review process and the rising frequency that would bring them into contact with the Empathetic Transmissions of their choices. Beings forcibly brought into higher realms that refuse to accept that they have harmed others typically begin to perceive the higher realms, and the omnivum as a threat. This belief manifest forms or structures that support this belief, which then fuels a desire to flee.
The Damnation-Believer — Beings whose time in Corruption has produced deeply entrenched beliefs about divine punishment, eternal damnation, or cosmic judgment. When they encounter the light of the Omnivum and higher dimensional awareness, they interpret it through those beliefs and experience it as the approach of punishment rather than reunion. They flee what they perceive as a wrathful judge. The Omnivum turns no soul away — but a soul convinced it is facing condemnation cannot receive what is actually being offered.

Self-Generated Hells
The environments that beings in Compression Sickness create for themselves through their own manifesting capacity are real dimensional spaces — not illusions, not metaphors. They can persist. A being in a self-generated hell is experiencing genuine suffering in a genuine environment, even if that environment was produced by its own beliefs and fears rather than by external forces.
These states are not permanent in any absolute sense — the Omnivum turns no soul away, and the physics of natural buoyancy mean that the direction of travel can always be interrupted. But a being in a self-generated hell cannot typically exit without outside contact: something that can reach it through the distortion it has created, transmit enough coherence to interrupt the loop, and begin the slow process of raising its frequency at a pace it can actually integrate.
